Ham ko Malum hai Jannat ki Haquiqat lekin
Dil ko Khush Rakhne ko Ghalib ye Khayal Achcha hai
Rago me Daudte Firne ke Ham Nahi Kayal
Jab Aankh hi se na Tapka to Fir Lahu Kya Hai
Bagicha-E-Atfaal hai Duniya Mere Aage
Hota hai Shab-O-Roz Tamasha Mere Aage
Borrowed liquor:
There is a one-time incident when Ghalib could not pay the price of borrowed liquor. The shopkeeper sued them. During the hearing in the court when he got questions and answers, he started with the following lines. And on saying this, the debt was forgiven and he was released.
Karz ki Pite the May Lekin Samazte The ki Haa,
Rang Layegi Hamari Fakamasti Ek Din
During the Persian era, he used Urdu and Hindi in the ghazals to put the tongue of the common man. He who saw life like a blank paper and made a heart pen on it, emitted emotion with pain ink. The result of his life was different, which is in this lion.
Tha Kuch to Khuda Tha, Kuchh na Hota to Khuda Hota
Duboya Muj ko Hone Ne, Na Hota Mei To Kya Hota
He received the titles of Dabir-ul-Mulk and Nazm-ud-Daula. His childhood passed very comfortably. Ghalib was born on 27 December 1717 in Kala Mahal, Agra and departed from this world on 15 February 1896.
